SGT Timothy BrumleyUS Army

    Sgt Brumley joined the US Army as an Airborne Infantryman in 1999 from Roswell, NM after he graduated from New Mexico Military Institute.  Tim deployed with the 173rd Airborne Brigade to Iraq in 2003 and Afghanistan in 2005.

    On May 3rd, 2005, Tim was wounded during a quick reaction force mission in the Arghandab River Valley, Afghanistan, when he was hit by a booby trap.  Sgt. Brumley lost his leg below the knee and went to BAMC for his recovery.

    After getting out of the military, Tim received his BBA in Supply Chain Management and now works as a Project/Program Manager for a logistics company.  He now lives in Conroe, TX with his wife and three kids.

    Sgt Brumley received a Purple Heart and Army Commendation Medal with Valor for his role in the fire fight on May 3rd.
