About 380 people attended the Joshua Chamberlain Society’s inaugural Price of Freedom Gala, held Feb. 19 at the Four Seasons Hotel. The event raised $115,000 to benefit the Joshua Chamberlain Society’s efforts to provide aid for severely wounded military service members and the families of killed-in-action members of the military. Three severely wounded veterans were honored during the gala, which included silent and live auctions. Lt. Col. T. Shane Tomko and Chief Warrant Officer Thomas Maguire provided entertainment styled on a traditional Marine mess night. Photos courtesy of Synergy Productions
