Donald Forth 2018 Trans Am Bike Race – St. Louis

Don Forth is a registered rider in the 2018 Trans Am Bike Race with the goal to raise money and awareness for JCS.
Beginning June 2 2018, he will embark on a 4,270-mile race that begins in Astoria, Oregon and finishes in Yorktown, Virginia; crossing 10 states from the Pacific to the Atlantic.
Riders will typically sleep for only four hours a night and push through tiredness and fatigue in order to get to the end. They must deal with the fear of sleeping in grizzly bear country, riding through snow, tackle the high mountains of Colorado, battle the winds of the Great Plains, and endure the rolling mountains of the Appalachians.
There are no support vehicles or check points and every rider is responsible for their own food, shelter, and bicycle maintenance.
Don’s last adventure raised almost $7,000 dollars for The Joshua Chamberlain Society Heroes. He plans to surpass that goal this year by raising $10,000 or more! You can help him meet that goal by donating now.
