Press Release
The Joshua Chamberlain Society (JCS) aids severely wounded military service members and the families of killed-in-action members of our military who sacrificed all in our service. The mission of JCS is unique. JCS adopts severely wounded military veterans for life. Just as these soldiers have sustained their injuries for life so will JCS support their adopted heroes for life.
The Joshua Chamberlain Society was founded in St .Louis, Missouri seven years ago. JCS has just launched a chapter in Nashville. The first fundraiser was held on October 4th, 2013 at Richland Country Club and was a huge success. Now JCS/Nashville Chapter is on its way towards adopting their first severely wounded military Hero for life!
As the battles in Afghanistan and elsewhere continue to rage, more and more wounded warriors return to America to live a life that will never be normal again. As such, it is a continuing challenge to raise money to serve more and more JCS Heroes. We hope Nashville will get involved in supporting JCS and their adopted soldiers.
